Talented Generation is a blog for a  generation of talented and qualified individuals who are looking to break into their chosen profession. We are the recent college and professional school graduates who become 1st year associates and new hires. Simply put, we are NEXT. We are the NEXT CEOs, CFOs, COOs, business moguls and icons.  


Talented Generation is a source for News, Pop Culture and Advice from a Budding Professional's Perspective. The original manifestation of this blog was my old blog  HUSL Today. Originally launched on August 1, 2009, HUSL Today was relaunched on January 11, 2010. At the time, I was a student and lets just say things got rough for a semester and I had to re-prioritize. I wrote, edited and managed every aspect of HUSL Today and the same will be true for Talented Generation.  


The Rebirth

I stopped blogging for quite some time but I never stopped thinking about my blogging community. I continued to check the stats and I realized there was an audience that I was missing...and the idea for a relaunch was born. I am HORRIBLE at naming things and coming up with names. One evening I asked some of my friends to help me come up with a new name because I did not think HUSL Today worked for me anymore. We brainstormed for a bit and Talented Generation was born.

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday Talented Generation will bring you posts with inspirational messages, blurbs about history making African Americans, my perspective on love & relationships, songs and TIPS to conquer issues budding professionals face. My hope is that by reading the posts you will be inspired to leave a positive footprint on the world & remain motivated to achieve GREAT things.
