Its day 14 of African American Music Appreciation month and we're celebrating Philly style (or at least how I imagine Philly style)! The boy band craze began with New Edition (we have a post scheduled for them later this week) and was revamped with these 4 gentlemen. Check the song below.
Fast facts:
Boys II Men is the biggest selling R&B group of all time having sold more than sixty million albums worldwide.
Boyz II Men are among the biggest names in a capella and R&B, and they were among the groups responsible, for changing hip hop into a mainstream popular music genre in the 1990s.
"End of the Road" is the group's first number 1 single. It would become Boyz II Men's greatest commercial success and their signature song. The track remained at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for an unprecedented thirteen weeks, breaking the previous record of eleven weeks set by Elvis Presley with "Don't Be Cruel"/"Hound Dog" in 1956.
Video bonus (because I love ya)!
*singing* Motown Philly's back again! This song makes me want to get up and dance.
