A great friend of mine dropped this gem into my inbox just as I was looking for a laugh. She knows me so well! After getting frustrated with the racist undertones of McDonald's commercial, the creator of the Orangey and Purple YouTube series created this parody called "McDonald's biiitch." Skip the rant and go to the 1:00 minute mark for the parody.
"I got this muhphuckin chicken biscuit sanwich! Chicken on a biscuit. Sanwich. Biitch. All up in yo muhphuckin faccceee!" *DEAD*
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who noticed how ads "go ghetto" for the commercials that target black audiences. I hate the Popeye's woman with the passion of 1000 suns. Thats relevant. This video gave me a hearty *yell laugh*!! Ba da pa pa pa, I loved it!

The brothers behind the Youtube sensation turned iTunes single "Ratchet," Emmanuel and Phillip Hudson, have dropped another jewel for all to enjoy. The duo produced a ratchet Snickers commercial parody of the commercials that famously declare "You're not yourself when you're hungry."

Funny to Me: Mawry Spoof
Posted in:
Funny to me,
Spoofs
In the above clip, the actress drops notable Maury gems like proclaiming she's a bad b*tch while also proudly announcing her pregnancy. Ya' know, typical Maury stuff.
I love watching Maury as much as the next bored person and that is part of what makes this parody video so hilarious! This little gem scrolled across my twitter #tahmlahn last evening and I was rolling so much I was compelled to share. I'm not sure about you all, but I watch the Maury show anytime I need to see ratchet people on tv ranging from retirees who aren't sure who their baby daddy is to out of control teens. It never fails that I get a good laugh from both Maury and his high energy guests.
Like I said, its funny to me.

FUNNY TO ME: Jesus Gives the Broncos a Pep Talk
Posted in:
Funny to me,
SNL,
Tim Tebow
By now, you all should have heard that the Broncos lost their first game since "Tebow-mania" took over the football world. In a way that only the folks at SNL could do, they created a skit about the Tebow "phenomena."
Disclaimer: This is NOT a video about religion or Jesus. The video pokes fun at Tebow. I think everyone who perpetuates the theory that Jesus spends his time helping teams win football games trivializes Jesus and his power. To think he would prefer to help Tim Tebow win a friggin football game (although I'm sure he gets MILLIONS of prayers for him to do so) rather than helping suffering children or anyone else who may "deserve" or "need" a blessing doesn't make sense to me. Doesn't it make you wonder if God has a favorite team tho? Do I know how Jesus spends his time? No. You know what, nevermind if I keep going I'm sure I'll manage to ruin everything funny about the skit. Just watch it.
Tebow has been open about the reason he believes he managed to win the games. Anyone who has tuned in to ESPN in the past few weeks has been inundated with news, comparisons to other quarterbacks (Hey Cam Newton! *wink*) and overall Tebow d*ck riding. I got so sick of it, I stopped watching. I hope when I tune in tomorrow morning, they will have found something more interesting to talk about.
How about those grand jury testimonies in the Sandusky case?
Like I said, the skit was funny to me.

Funny To Me: Herman Cain Quotes Pokémon
Posted in:
Funny to me,
Herman Cain,
Jon Stewart,
Pokemon
In his farewell address during which he announced he would be suspending his bid for the Presidency Herman Cain used a quote from the closing credits of the Pokémon movie. What quote did he use? I'm glad you asked! Cain FAILED at trying to turn the quote "Life can be a challenge, Life can seem impossible. Its never easy when theres so much on the line" into a prophetic closing line. After a quick search, I realized it wasn't the first time he quoted the popular cartoon series.
I wish I was making this up but it REALLY happened!
Sir, STOP IT NOW! Fire your speech writers. Oh wait, I doubt he ever bothered to hire any writers or any other people with experience.
My favorite newscaster Jon Stewart went IN on Big Daddy Cain. Watch below...
The fact that he thought quoting the Pokémon intro was appropriate is stone cold proof that he had no business running for President. In light of the army of women who came forward alleging Cain sexually harassed them, it seems like his goals aligned with Pokémon because he tried to "catch em all" Further, the fact that he chose that particular quote instead of the other lessons Pokémon aimed to teach about life is the nail the seals the coffin.
I must admit I'll miss his foolery on the campaign trail as he was funny without even trying to be. Don't confuse my criticism of Cain with my praise of the other GOPers. I think its all a big comedy show. As far as I'm concerned, I can't take any of the candidates seriously. Even though I knew from the beginning he would never secure the nod, Cain was a source of comedic relief.
For those you unfamiliar with Pokémon, take a quick listen to their theme song.
You're welcome.

FUNNY TO ME: TLC's "Virgin Diaries"
Posted in:
Funny to me,
TLC,
Virgin Diaries
Last evening, TLC premiered its new show The Virgin Diaries chronicling the life of adult virgins. I am ecstatic to report that I watched it. One couple tickled my fancy because the two had never been intimate and were marrying as virgins. Isn't that the cutest thing?! Needless to say, I was amazed by their story. I know I shouldn't be shocking and its probably a reflection on my own sexual experiences for me to even admit it but whatevs. Don't get judgmental on me now.
Ok ok ok before you all judge me (I know some of ya'll already have) for finding this show funny, I believe "waiting" is a beautiful decision people should make. I am happy to say I know a few virgins and I know how difficult it is to wait while living in a society where people get rich and famous for releasing sex tapes.
I think the media needs to switch gears in terms of selling sex to a younger audiences. I yearn for young girls to learn to have confidence in themselves outside of the juices marinating in their vag and to stop seeking validation from men. I want young girls to know they can wait and still be "popular" while maintaining their dignity and self respect. Further, I also believe people make better decisions when they aren't wearing the "sex blinders" that come along when people have experienced good sex from a partner who is no good for them.
If you missed the show, you did yourself a disservice. Check out the clip below.
I enjoyed watching the show. It gave me hope that there are people who still believe in old traditions. Thats not to say, I didn't find it HIGH-larious. Their first kiss? It looked like they were about to EAT each other's face.

FUNNY TO ME: The CVS holyghost, FACT or FAKE?!
Posted in:
Funny to me,
youtube
Not that there is anything funny about the holyghost or taking God or Jesus' name in vain but this pulled a little more than a giggle from me. If you've ever been in a store or public area where someone gets rambunctious for no reason, I hope you can appreciate the video below.
Who wants to bet she got this way because her meds weren't ready?
My only complaint after watching this video is that it lacks audience reactions. Could you imagine *thinking* you were going to make a "quick" stop at your local CVS and getting caught up in her behavior? I'm not ever lucky enough to catch things like this on video, but I am thankful for those who are!

In case you've been living under a rock or you're not a slave to Apple products like the rest of us, Apple's iPhone 4S features an amazing voice command feature nicknamed Siri. The folks over at College Humor created a parody of the Apple promos for Siri. Check it:

Herman Cainâs Campaign Promises with Mike Tyson from Mike Tyson
For those who don't know me, I'm quite fond of the folks over at Funny or Die. I'm so fond that whenever they create a masterpiece such as the one above, I feel compelled to share it as I have just done. This time they have used the hilariousness of Mike Tyson to spoof the ridiculousness of the character/GOP hopeful (but won't ever make it) Herman Cain. Take a look. Laugh with me. You're all welcome =)

Funny to Me: Property Law According to Toddlers
Posted in:
Funny to me
So my youngest niece is a toddler now. She's walking and won't shut up talking and just an all around happy baby. I find myself wondering what goes on in the minds of babies and toddlers and then the innanets answered that question for me. See for yourself...
Toddler Property Laws
1. If I like it, it's mine.
2. If it's in my hand, Its mine.
3. If I can take it from you, it's mine.
4. If I had it a little while ago, It's mine.
5. If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
6. If I am doing or building something, all the pieces are mine.
7. If it looks like mine, it is mine.
8. If I saw it first, it's mine.
9. If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine.
10. If it's broken, it's yours.
Gotta love the kiddies :)

Posted in:

Funny to me,
LaLa Anthony
LaLa Anthony is the latest celeb to take part in a hilarious skit with the people at Funny or Die. LaLa Anthony was not happy when she found out that of all the perverts in the world, only 10% of them are women. In her skit LaLa and a team of women hope to "Take Back The Perv" as they demand their right to be perverts.
LaLa gathered a few fellow pervs and decided to start a campaign to find more female perverts who aren't afraid to flash their privates in public, read porn or do a whole host of other freaky things. Peep the skit below:
Take Back The Perv with La La Anthony from La La Anthony
I'm with you LaLa! More women should become pervs! *giggles*

Funny to Me: Affion Crockett Does Dave Chappelle, Manny Pacquiao, Drake, President Obama, Russell Simmons & Tiger Woods Impersonations From His New Show
Posted in:
Affion Crockett,
Funny to me,
TV news
Affion (I can call him that because we're friends, in my head) and his impersonations have a special place in my heart. From his Deuces spoof to his take on Officer Ricky, he keeps me laughing. I wish him the best in his new venture. Word on the curb is that it premiered on Fox a little under a week ago. I didn't watch it because...well I don't watch Fox. The format of Crockett’s half-hour program resembles Dave Chappelle’s Comedy Central hit “Chappelle’s Show,” with Crockett serving both as host and star. IF you haven't removed Fox from your TV lineup I'm sure it will be funny. I'll catch the reruns on Hulu or Youtube. All the best Affion!

Funny to Me: Hosea Chanchez's "Booty Shots"
Posted in:
Funny to me
The video was funny to me because I thought it was Hosea's genuine attempt at a rap career. I giggled uncontrollably because I thought it was another actor looking to break into another realm of the entertainment business. To be fair, Hosea cleared up the confusion about the existence of the video by tweeting:
BOOTY SHOTS" video is a CHARACTER from a film i did years back DYSFUNCTIONAL FRIENDS. That video is in the movie, ITS NOT MY VIDEO! LMAO

Funny to Me: Nick Cannon Wants You to See His Booty Werk
Posted in:
Funny to me,
Nick Cannon,
T-Pain music
As corny as he may be I like Nick Cannon. I think he's a smart guy and I love the way he wears his suits. He's fearless when it comes to what he wants to do and considering the multi-millionaire managed to procreate with Mariah Carey I would say he's a winner. I gotta admit I wonder how entertaining their life is when they are sitting at home having family time. I have a feeling Nick keeps Mariah laughing.
This booty werk video tho? Idk if I would want to see my man in shorts but I darn sure got a good laugh. Fellas, would you don a pair of Daisy Dukes for the sake of company? Ladies, would you be suspicious if your man decided to rock some DDs for the world to see?

Paul Revere's Famous Ride
Posted in:
Colbert Report,
Funny to me,
Historical Reenactments,
Sarah Palin
Caveat: Before you read this post, understand that I have my own opinions about Sarah Palin. I understand she is not popular with everyone and neither is any other politician. I MUST warn you about my feelings towards her. I think she is cute and the SNL skits about her were hilarious. I also think one of the only things she is great at in terms of being a public figure is stringing unrelated insignificant words together to speak without actually saying anything.
When I heard about Sarah Palin's "bus tour," I thought she would take the opportunity to prove naysayers wrong. Surely she went over her planned speeches at each stop. Surely she reviewed her American History because she took it upon herself to educate America about our history. Surely. I admit I was a bit skeptical and I took it upon myself to change the news channel each time anything that rhymes with Parah Salin was uttered by newscasters. All of that changed when I saw her speak about Paul Revere's famous ride.
Everything was fine and dandy (if thats what you want to call it) in the land of Palin until she visited Boston to raise awareness of Paul Revere's famous ride. People allowed her to continue on her "bus tour" and many vowed not to cover the story until her stop in Boston. Only Steven Colbert could do this story justice. In short, Colbert proves that Paul Revere could have ridden a horse while ringing a bell and firing multiple warning shots from a front-loading musket.
Oh Sarah...I bet your history teach is just soooo proud.
