As colleges and universities around the country prepare to accept hundreds of thousands of incoming freshman, this is a great time to listen to their voices.
Below is one of the more memorable graduation speeches I've come across (I know its a day late and a dollar short but bear with me). Its mainly because of the person making the speech-Atlanta teen Deonte Bridges. At the time he spoke at his High School's graduation he had accumulated $1 million in academic scholarships which as he declares is more than enough to cover his undergraduate and graduate expenses. Also worth noting is his achievement as the 1st African American MALE valedictorian from Booker T. Washington high school in 10 years! Take a listen...
HUSL Today encourages Deonte Bridges to keep working hard and to remain focused on his path to success.
Sidenote: To the incoming class of 2014, welcome to college!
