African American Music Appreciation Month 2011

For those who don't know, the regular posting days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday but I am making an exception in honor of African American Music Appreciation Month by posting a different song by African American artists everyday in the month of June. 


Today's choice: Kriss Kross-Jump!

Kris Kross was an American teenage rap duo of the early 1990s comprising Chris " Mac Daddy" Kelly and Chris "Daddy Mac." The duo sparked a fashion fad of backwards clothes and fancy haircuts for their generation. They were discovered by a young Jermaine Dupri who groomed them into a successful rap group starting in 1990. Jump was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks and was certified double platinum as a single. 


For those who embraced the fad, how HARD was it to go to the bathroom wearing backwards jeans? Ohhhh the memories!
