Today's message is simple: Self-love comes FIRST.
Don't look for others to love you. LOVE yourself first.
Do not wait for another person to complete you. COMPLETE yourself first.
Don't wait around for others to accept you. ACCEPT yourself first.
Then and only then will you truly be ready to seek the love of another. I know everyone is probably caught up in the hoopla of Valentine's day but I urge you to stop and consider the real message behind this day. Valentine's day should be everyday for our loved ones. We should not have to wait until the calendar reads "February 14" before we decide our loved ones are worth special treatment. Do your best to show everyone you love and appreciate them not just today but everyday.
